The Fake Wedding at Kings Weston House
Wedding Photography with a difference at Kings Weston House in Bristol
Last year I was invited along to be a wedding photographer at Kings Weston House in Bristol. Now there’s not too much out of the ordinary about that except for that this was a Fake Wedding!
“Part wedding fair, part performance, part massive party, we promise that even if you don't normally 'do' wedding fairs you're going to want to come to this one. The Fake Wedding is an immersive wedding planning experience that gives engaged couples the opportunity to see a range of wedding suppliers in action as though at a real wedding.”
The Fake Wedding is an event put on by Kate from The Holistic Wedding Hub and is part of Heartfelt Vintage Ltd and brings together a bunch of great suppliers from the wedding industry.
Kings Weston House was open for all to explore - Hair and Makeup was being done in the Portrait Gallery, The Great Hall was setup, with chairs beautifully styled by The Vintage Sash Company, for the two ceremonies that Rosalind Love took charge of where the couples-to-be entered the room down the sweeping staircase.
Following both the wedding ceremonies at Kings Weston House I was able to grab a few portraits of the models in my style of wedding photography which is a relaxed informal style using the beauty of such a location of a great wedding venue.
On the day the suppliers available to chat to were :

I was also able to take some individual portraits of those involved in the day although some people were more willing than others!
