Registry Office in Bristol Wedding Photography
Neil and Jo decided to have their wedding ceremony at The Old Council House in Bristol or as it's more commonly known, the Bristol Registry Office and asked me to come along to take care of their wedding photography requirements. Neil and Jo had decided to keep their wedding day as a relaxed and fairly informal day with the emphasis being on the ceremony itself and not worrying about the intricate details that many wedding magazines often focus on.I've had the pleasure of photographing a wedding at Bristol Registry office a couple of times previously but this was my first time of photographing a wedding in The Lantern Room which is a rather impressive room for a wedding ceremony with its large domed ceiling amongst other impressive architectural details.Following the ceremony and a few formal group photographs Neil and Jo's guest made their way on foot through Queen's Square and on to the wedding reception at The Riverstation which is another of my favourite wedding venues in Bristol. As their guests walked on ahead Neil and Jo wanted to hang back a little so they could make their own way to the reception and enjoy some time together walking along as a newly married husband and wife which also meant I was able to capture a few photographs of them casually strolling together hand in hand while the rest of Bristol seemed oblivious to the commitment they had just made to each other.Feel free to have a look through some of my favourite images of Neil and Jo's special day and if the mood takes you why not leave a little comment.
If you are looking for a wedding photographer in Bristol because you're planning on getting married at Bristol Registry Office or The Riverstation then please get in touch as I'd love to hear about your plans for your big day.
