Mansion House Bristol Wedding Photographer
Nicky and Steve had commissioned me to be their Bristol Mansion House Wedding Photographer which had me completely thrilled as The Mansion House is such a stunning venue. It is the residence of the Lord Mayor of Bristol and is set in such a fantastic location in Clifton and is a fantastic property.
Usually I try to meet up with my bride and grooms and have a pre-wedding photoshoot but with Nicky and Steve this did not happen so the morning of the wedding was the first time a nervous Nicky had the pleasure of my camera being pointed at her. Who'd have thought that a few hours later she would be in full pose lounging across a chaise longue as I was sprawled across the floor of the Mansion House taking her photograph.
I had originally met up with Nicky as a result of me being recommended to her by two of Bristol's finest wedding suppliers, The Mews in Clifton from where Nicky chose her stunning wedding dress and also Flora and Grace who provided stationery and the table plans for Nicky and Steve's big day.
Nicky and Steve decide they did not want too many formal photographs and would rather have a documentary feel to their wedding photographs although they did let me take them off for a little walk to capture a few images of just the two of them together without the glaring eyes of their closes friends and family.
So here we go with a selection of my favourite images from the day. Feel free to have a look through and leave the lovely couple a comment if you like.
