Bristol Wedding Photographer in London | Brick Lane | Jess and Jimmy
A couple of weekends ago I had the pleasure of travelling to London to meet up with Jess and Jimmy for their pre-wedding shoot. Getting the chance to meet up with my couples before their wedding day is always a great but it's especially so when this is the first time you've actually met them. As a Bristol Wedding Photographer most of my time photographing weddings in spent around the Bristol & Somerset area so when the option of heading to London came around I was there like a shot. Jess had suggested the shoot take place along the Brick Lane area of London which I must be honest meant I had absolutely no idea where I was heading but within no time at all we had stumbled across several spots that had been chomping at the bit. I seem to have developed a love for doorways and the odd bit of peeling paint so I was well and truly in my element as we wandered through the side streets of London.I can't wait to photograph their wedding day in just under 2 weeks as judging by the short time I spent with them in London it's going to be a lot of fun. Here is a selection of my favourites from the day so sit back, have a look and feel free to leave a comment for this gorgeous couple.
We met up just outside Spitalfields Market which was such a hub of activity but within no time at all we had found these great little shops, unfortunately photography was not allowed inside so we settled for a couple of shots outside. I prefer not to go for heavily posed photographs as I like couples to relax and feel at ease.
I was just getting ready to take the next picture when I turned around to find Jess & Jimmy standing here!
As I said earlier I seem to have become a fan of doorways but it's easy to see why when they look like this. I reckon the postman must have a file on his face every time he delivers to this house.
It almost seems inevitable that I find myself lying down with my ear to the ground taking a photograph at some point but it's worth it to get the lines leading you to a fabulous couple like Jess & Jimmy.
Just off Brick Lane there was this rundown parking area with some great graffiti which made a great backdrop for a couple of photographs.
I Loved the fact that when I suggested a dummy run of their first dance in a packed street in London they didn't bat an eyelid!
