Thornbury Golf Club Wedding Photographer

Last month I had the pleasure of photographing the marriage of Stewart and Lisa who you may remember from their pre wedding photography in Clifton.

Stewart and Lisa got married at Poole Court, Yate Registry Office and then headed off to Thornbury Golf Centre for their wedding reception.  Thornbury is a lovely little market town in South Gloucestershire and the staff at the Golf centre certainly help your special day go without a hitch.

Lisa had decided to skip on the bridal preparation photographs that I would normally capture and asked me to meet them at Poole Court as she thought it might be a little manic at the house with everyone getting ready so I was surprised on the day of the wedding to see a few beads of sweat on Stewart’s brow and Lisa looking rather cool despite when every time I’ve spoken to him he assured me it was Lisa who was the nervous one.

 It was at this point as Stewart went to put the ring on Lisa’s finger she told him not to put the ring on all the way.  We don’t think she was having second thoughts at all!

 It only seem right to get a picture on the bridge at Thornbury Golf Centre although it did mean a short golf buggy ride and holding up play for those golfers on the fairway.  I hope it didn’t affect anyone’s scorecard.
