Pre Wedding Photography in Clifton
I always like to have a chance to get to know my bride and grooms better before their wedding day so as a Clifton Wedding Photographer a pre wedding photo shoot is often the best way for me to do this. I always explain this to the couples as it is just like going for a walk but I’ll have a camera with me. It’s often a good way for the bride and groom to put aside any nerves that they might have about getting photographed on their big day.
I didn’t need to worry about nerves in front of the camera with Stewart and Lisa as we headed into Clifton last week. They’ll be getting married in 6 weeks time and I’m really looking forward to being their Bristol Wedding Photographer. Here is a selection of my favourites from their pre wedding photography in Clifton.
There is some fantastic architecture around Clifton so where better to start than a stroll along the Crescent.
I would regularly head along to the famous Clifton Suspension Bridge to try and capture that perfect landscape photograph but trying to get a picture like this is a challenge for me as I don’t have a particularly great fondness for heights!
While searching for the ever elusive parking space around Clifton Stewart & Lisa found this lovely little garden which had a beautiful magnolia tree. It was an oasis of calm amid the bustle of the village.

are lovely though, some really different ones. I like all the natural poses rather than posed portait shots. Wedding photos should be great (any chance of photo-shopping a 36w pregnant woman?!)
