Bath Wedding Photography | Max and Nina
I’ve been looking forward to blogging the wedding photos of Max and Nina for sometime now.
You can see their pre-wedding photos here
This lovely couple had planned to get married with their family in attendance and then surprise their friends with the news they were married at a later date so this could be the first time their friends get to see the images from their big day.
They ceremony took place at the Guildhall in Bath and what a lovely venue for a wedding it is. Despite a few last-minute hiccups with the reception venue (to say the least) their wedding day was lovely and I was happy to be a part of it.
Both Max and Nina told me they weren’t too comfortable in front of the camera but I think we can all see that on the big day those nerves had gone.

The Guildhall in Bath is a lovely venue for a wedding service with stunning architecture. I just love those grand shutters on the windows.

Max and Nina decided to walk down the aisle together and it’s the first time I’ve had a bride and groom see each other before the ceremony.
I love the look on Nina’s face in these photographs as the wedding rings are exchanged.

There is a standard pose throughout Nina’s family for all photographs and it involves a hand under the chin and there was no reason why this pose shouldn’t feature in their wedding photographs as well.
From the Guildhall we crossed to the nearby Bath Parade Gardens for some of the formal wedding photographs. There was a great reaction from some tourists as the bride and groom walked past them.
It would have been a shame not to feature a landmark such as Pulteney Bridge in their wedding photographs.

Then it was time to jump in to the car and head over to the reception venue in Box, near Bath who had come to the rescue and such short notice.
I dont remember the car breaking down and I’m sure Nina wasnt trying to get away early!!
And finally a few thoughts from Nina’s mum and sisters.
